Information We Use
CrewSync.Today uses Firebase Authentication to identify your Google account and keep your roster history separate from other users. We may store your name, email address, profile photo URL, provider ID, account creation time, and last login time in Firebase.
Roster Data
Uploaded roster PDFs are parsed for schedule data. To support sync verification, parser improvement, and correction of missed roster details, CrewSync.Today may store the uploaded PDF and extracted roster text in private Firebase Storage under your authenticated user ID. Parsed roster history, version metadata, calendar names, and app-created calendar IDs may be stored in Firestore under your authenticated user ID.
Google Calendar Access
CrewSync.Today requests Google Calendar access only to create, update, and remove events in calendars created or managed by the app. Calendar access tokens are kept in browser session storage and are cleared when you sign out or when the token expires.
Product Usage Analytics
CrewSync.Today records limited product-usage events to operate, support, secure, and improve the service. These events may include your authenticated user ID, a temporary session ID, the menu or feature used, the type and result of an action, its duration, a broad device category, language, and app version. Raw product-usage events are retained for up to 90 days; compact daily counts may be retained longer to measure product reliability and usage trends.
Product analytics does not record roster text or file names, schedules, airports or routes, search terms, memo or Secret Memo content, message or feedback text, IP addresses, or a full browser user-agent string. Those values are not accepted by the analytics event format.
Sharing
CrewSync.Today does not sell user data. User roster history is protected by Firestore rules so each signed-in user can access only their own documents. Retained roster source files in Firebase Storage are limited to the signed-in user who uploaded them and authorized support administrators.
Beta Status
CrewSync.Today is currently a beta product. Data handling, sync behavior, and account features may change as the product is improved.
